They also drop in the dragons lair mission. But those creatures are even harder :/ (the eles at least)

The only other place you can get them is from the Sand Elementals. If you are a warrior use balanced stance, it helps a lot since Aftershock does the most dmg

Lots of them drop in Dragons Lair - you could either hang out and ask to buy them as people come out of the mission, or you could get in on the missions yourself and have some fun collecting them. =)

It would be easier to advise you if you told us what profession you were.

As an elementalist one way is to go strength against strength. Take your AL up sky high, keep your health right around max, and just accept the fact that they're going to walk up to you three at a time and hit you with triple Lightning Touch followed by triple Aftershock. I don't think they use anything armor-ignoring, so blasting them right back with Aftershock/Crystal Wave should eventually outdamage them.

Another option would be to snare them with water magic and burn them from a distance before they ever successfully close with you, but I haven't actually tried that.

But it's a close thing. If you're relying on Ether Renewal, for instance, and they interrupt it with knockdown, you're probably dead.

When you say I, im thinking yourself soloing it can't kill them. If not bring henchies, if killing them is the problem.

Thanks for help...the trip from left field is a long one.

And the reason I suggest ST is that the earth eles outside of it drop ELS and they are easy to solo with a 55....or anything.

Unfortunately those only drop scorched lodestones, not the ones the OP is looking for.

If the eles outside of Serenity dropped encrusted lodestones I could make a living just farming and vendoring collectors items. hehehe

Yes, I found it much easier to take these down with my ele than with my Warrior. aftershock+crystal wave. boost the armor. Strength vs. Strength...I couldn't have said it better myself.

For the warrior do the Ice Imp build with 16 in strength for infinate Dolyak Sig...that should make it much easier
